NovaTec Immundiagnostica GmbH has developed its first kit for its Western & Line Blot line. Our goal is to continue to develop new parameters and to meet our customers needs and demands.

The Western Blot (alternatively, immunoblot) is an analytical technique used to detect specific proteins in a given sample of tissue homogenate or extract. It uses gel electrophoresis to separate native or denatured proteins by the length of the polypeptide. The proteins are then transferred to a membrane, where they are detected using antibodies specific to the target protein.
